What We Collect
When you use the OCRP verification system, we collect and store the following information:
- Your Discord user ID
- Your Roblox user ID
- Your Roblox username
We do not collect your email address, IP address, real name, or any other personal information beyond what is listed above.
Why We Collect It
Your information is used solely for the following purposes:
- Account Verification: To link your Discord and Roblox accounts and confirm your identity within the community.
- Role Assignment: To automatically assign Discord roles based on your verified Roblox account and department membership.
- Nickname Sync: To set your Discord server nickname to match your Roblox username for easy identification during roleplay sessions.
How We Store It
Your data is stored in a SQLite database on our privately managed server. Access to this database is restricted to OCRP administrators. We do not use cloud-hosted database services or share database access with third parties.
Your data is retained for as long as you are a member of the OCRP community. If you leave the Discord server, your data may be retained for a reasonable period to allow for re-verification if you return. You may request deletion at any time.
Third-Party Services
Our verification system interacts with the following third-party services:
- Discord OAuth2: Used to authenticate your Discord account during the verification process. We receive your Discord user ID through this flow.
- Roblox OAuth2: Used to authenticate your Roblox account during the verification process. We receive your Roblox user ID and username through this flow.
We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any third parties. Your information is only used within the OCRP ecosystem.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your data
- Unlink your accounts at any time through the verification portal
